Get a jump start on your automotive career with our Automotive Technician Education Pathway program! If you are a high school junior or senior, you can work at our Service Center at Chariot Automotive Institute and get started on an apprenticeship. Your time in the shop working on the most popular automotive brands will help you earn college credits toward an automotive degree with Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo.
We will work around your school schedule and help you get credit for paid work whether you can work part-time or summer hours. We have four locations around Lafayette where you can work for college credit and prepare to enter a registered Department of Labor (DOL) Apprenticeship Program.
